Kirby's Dream Land

Kirby's Dreamland is a great 2D platform game. The cartoony graphics and music make for a fun, childlike environment. Although experienced players will find this game an insult to their game playing ability, this game is not really aimed at them. This is a great beginners game. The game play is fast, but not difficult. The music is very upbeat and fun. This is another way this game appeals to younger gamers and not older ones. Game control is excellent, in part to the wide range of imaginative powers Kirby has. You can suck up enemies and shoot them back out. You can fly and then shoot puffs of air at enemies. You can also swallow enemies to replenish health.

There are many types of power ups that do various things.The mint leaf, spicy food, and microphone allow Kirby to shoot things out of his mouth. The bomb will kill anything in a certain radius. Then there is the pep brew, which is a health replenisher. The Sparkling stars are the objects that will end the level when touched. The warp star will transport Kirby to the next area of the level.

All in all, Kirby's Dreamland is a great game for beginner players and ones that enjoy a fun, but short, experience.
