Wild Gunman

Synopsis

by Jeff Irwin

Wild Gunman for the NES is an adaptation of a popular arcade shooter that has you firing the light gun at outlaws throughout three games. When playing in games A or B, you face the quick draw of a variety of outlaws, but beware, Wild Gunman works on the honor code of the wild west. You must wait until your opponent draws before you blow them away. In game C, you take the fight into the streets against a whole gang of outlaws. The object is to annihilate each outlaw as they pop out of doors and windows.

Extra Credits

This was one of the early games for the light gun on the NES. Obvious shades of Hogan's Alley are obvious in the "gang" mode, but Nintendo was very creative when producing Wild Gunman.
