Synopsis
As with most arcade adaptations from this era, the Atari 5200 rendition of Mario Bros. doesn't look exactly like its coin-op counterpart. The turtles have an odd appearance, Mario is too skinny and the coins are hexagonal (as opposed to circular). Still, this is an excellent adaptation -- control and gameplay are solid, all the basic strategies from the original are effective, bonus rounds are included and the hugely enjoyable two-player simultaneous is fully intact.
