Synopsis
In BioForge, you discover you're on a moon that is literally shaking itself to pieces. To survive: find out who you are, why you're here, and who's behind the ghastly scenes you stumble across during your struggle to escape. Through a series of small discoveries you find that you've been bio-enhanced by a madman, Dr. Mastaba, and you've got two options: use your new found biotech strength and augmentations to escape this futuristic complex nearing total destruction, or die. You'll also discover a fiendish plot so threatening to humankind that escape becomes even more important since you're the only one with sufficient knowledge to foil the doctor's interstellar evil plan. BioForge falls more into the action/adventure genre and features animation, variable outcomes based on in-game decisions, a full range of combat maneuvers, futuristic and basic weaponry, digital sound effects and integrated character interactions. Be aware! BioForge contains many disturbing scenes, unmitigated cruelty, and intense combat.

Extra Credits
BioForge was initially designed to be Origin Systems first release in the "interactive movie" genre, but due to slippage problems, their Wing Commander III hit the shelves before BioForge. Never truly an interactive movie by the strict definition because BioForge uses non-video interaction, but it still ranks high on the list of interactive games, albeit closer to an action/adventure title.
