Long before video games filled arcades, pinball machines ruled the interactive gaming universe. It's no surprise that pinball made the transition to video games.

Video gamers who can remember playing pinball as well as video games will see pinball simulations as nostalgia, while newer gamers will see them as simply new concepts in video gaming.

Many of the great pinball machines from Gottlieb, a company that produced pinball machines and arcade games like Q*Bert, made packages like 3D Pinball Express possible.
