Synopsis
The HardBall series continues with this 1995 installment, featuring new and improved player animation and graphics. The computer opponent promises to be more challenging with more pickoff attempts and batters that adjust to your pitching tendencies. HardBall '95 retains the MLBPA license (but no MLB) so you get 700 players with statistics and ratings based on the 1994 season. Play modes include Season (full or half), Practice, Home Run Derby and Exhibition. Statistics are tracked throughout your season and saved to battery, and the team customization features found in the previous two games have made it to this title as well. Al Michaels also makes a return appearance and will perform the play-by-play.

Extra Credits
In 1985, HardBall! was introduced to the home computer market and would gain widespread appeal for its stunning graphics and playability. While it didn't have real players and had only two fictional teams (the All-Stars and Champs), it was still considered one of the best baseball games of its time. Subsequent releases have made the HardBall franchise one of the most popular baseball simulations on the personal computer market. Given this success, it was only natural for the series to make the transition to the consoles.
